Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in the specified fields is required.
• Alternative: Associate's degree with related experience may be considered.
• Experience in building codes compliance or related fields is required.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain Georgia's construction codes and statewide amendments.
• Provide technical assistance to local governments, industry, and the general public.
• Staff the State Codes Advisory Committee and related subcommittees and task forces.
• Review, research, and report on code changes and amendments.
