Related Management Company (RMC) is seeking a Temporary Janitor/Porter to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming common areas in our building in New York. The role involves ground-up upkeep, move-in support, front desk coverage, and event logistics.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of janitorial experience, is reliable, can work with cleaning chemicals, and can lift up to 50 lbs. A team player with strong time-management skills will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years janitor/porter experience.
• Experience with cleaning chemicals.
• Reliable and able to work with little supervision.
• Excellent time management and work ethic.
• Capable of lifting up to 50lbs and standing for long shifts.
• Light maintenance knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep sidewalks, lobbies, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins across the building.
• Respond quickly to spills and safety hazards.
• Clean floors, glass, brass, and woodwork; deep clean as needed.
• Support move-ins, front desk coverage, and tours.
• Assist with sets up for events and maintain shared spaces.
