Job Description

Building based substitute teacher position is available at the Locke Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year. This position is 2 days per week. The daily rate of pay is $100.00 and the workday is 6.5 hrs per day (including a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch).
A building based substitute teacher is responsible for implementing lesson plans and maintaining a productive and safe classroom environment.

Substitutes Teachers for the Elementary Schools are preferred to possess at least a Bachelor's Degree. Substitutes with two (2) years of college majoring in Education and a recommendation from the building principal can also be utilized.
