Job summary

Total Comfort Solutions is seeking a Systems Controls Technician to troubleshoot, repair, install and commission Building Automation Systems (BAS) and related equipment. You will build client relationships and provide high-quality service to SC/GA clients, with occasional travel to Lexington, NC.

You will program BAS, integrate systems, install and configure graphical interfaces, and pursue ongoing technical training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience programming BAS and integrating with third-party equipment.
• Working knowledge of PCs and computer networking.
• Strong organization and time management skills.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Must have tools to perform Level 3 work.
• Commitment to safe work practices.
• Experience managing service agreements and quoted jobs.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Ability to pass fit-for-duty evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot/repair and perform preventive maintenance on BAS equipment.
• Perform BAS integrations and install and program systems.
• Create custom graphical interfaces for controls systems.
• Maintain professional client relationships and communicate effectively.
• Support on-call rotations including nights and weekends.
