Job summary

Jobot is seeking a BAS Controls Technician in Raleigh, NC to install, program, commission, and service building automation systems on commercial projects. You’ll work with customers, project teams, and field technicians to deliver high-quality control solutions and ensure commissioning accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of BAS/HVAC controls experience, familiarity with Niagara (N4/AX) or Distech, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience with BAS/HVAC controls
• Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and control sequences
• Experience with platforms such as Tridium Niagara (N4/AX) or Distech
• Ability to troubleshoot, program, and commission DDC systems
• Comfortable working directly with customers and in the field

Responsibilities

• Install, program, and commission BAS/DDC systems for new construction and retrofit projects
• Troubleshoot and service control systems at customer sites
• Verify system performance and ensure sequences meet project specifications
• Develop and implement control programs, databases, and graphics
• Complete commissioning documentation and maintain accurate as-built records
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams to support project execution
• Provide technical support, training, and follow-up for end users
• Assist HVAC technicians with controls-related issues in the field
• Mentor junior technicians and contribute to team development
• Identify service opportunities and support ongoing customer relationships
