The University of Arizona is seeking a Building Automation Technician II to maintain HVAC controls, instruments, and metering across campus. The role involves installing, calibrating sensors, upgrading controls, and responding to space-comfort calls on-site.
Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least three years of relevant experience; a valid driver’s license is required. This is a full-time, on-site position with comprehensive benefits.
Position Highlights The University of Arizona is seeking a Building Automation Technician II. The Building Automations group maintains all of the HVAC controls, instrumentation, and utility metering at the University, ensuring that building HVAC systems operate as efficiently as possible.
This involves equipment installation and maintenance, including calibrating sensors, modifying operating sequences, upgrading HVAC controls, and answering space-comfort calls to quickly troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC control problems on-site.

As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
