Qualifications

• 5+ years experience managing BAS, HVAC controls, or DDC projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls systems, automation networks, and DDC applications.
• Experience with platforms such as Niagara, Siemens, Johnson Controls (JCI), Honeywell, or Schneider Electric.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, control drawings, and sequences of operation.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with ERP or construction/project management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage BAS/DDC controls projects from kickoff through completion.
• Coordinate technicians, programmers, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, job costs, materials, and change orders.
• Oversee submittals, control sequences, installation planning, startup, commissioning, and project closeout.
• Maintain clear communication with customers, project stakeholders, and field personnel.
• Support problem-solving efforts to keep projects moving efficiently and successfully.
• Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and performance expectations.

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an experienced and motivated BAS / Controls Project Manager to lead Building Automation and DDC controls projects from initial planning through commissioning and final closeout. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong communication with clients, field teams, and vendors.

$100k - $125k annually

Key Responsibilities

• Manage BAS/DDC controls projects from kickoff through completion
