Siemens is hiring a Systems Specialist to join our Buildings team in Cromwell, CT. You will participate in installation, startup, and commissioning of building automation systems, ensuring the project is aligned with design specifications and operational sequences.

You will work with a team on site, performing testing, documentation, and customer training while adhering to safety policies and scheduling requirements. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Formación

• Experience installing/servicing electronic control or HVAC equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret design and construction documents.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel as needed.
• Must be legally allowed to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Comfort with using a laptop, email, smartphone, and tablet at work.

Responsabilidades

• Commission new distributed digital control systems on construction sites within planned timelines.
• Plan work with Lead Technician and Team Leader.
• Assist with data back-up and automated procedures; troubleshoot operations.
• Support network performance verification and testing.
• Submit routine reports and assist with customer training on system operations.
• Coordinate site communication and time/expense reporting.

Electro-mechanical experience

PC/software skills

Reading construction documents

Driver's license

Educación

High school diploma or GED

Associate or Bachelor's in electronics/mechanical engineering
