Job summary

Stark Tech is seeking a Building Automation Technician to oversee building controls and automation projects, managing scope, cost, schedule, and staffing. The role involves coordinating with vendors, and collaborating with sales and engineering to define project objectives.

The position emphasizes budgeting, labor tracking, and forecasting milestones, with strong emphasis on Microsoft Office planning and reporting. Travel to project sites is required in many assignments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering, architecture, construction, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of project management experience in construction or automation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• 10-hour OSHA certification.
• Financial competence in project management and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review technical documents and respond to project inquiries.
• Monitor project costs, progress, and milestones.
• Manage budgets, staff, contractors, and other resources.
• Utilize Microsoft Office for project planning and coordination.
• Forecast project completion and billing percentages.
• Track and report on financial, productivity, quality, and KPI metrics.
• Work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Travel to various project sites as required.
