Job summary

Stark Tech is hiring a Building Automation Technician to diagnose, calibrate, and repair building automation systems in commercial and industrial settings. You will support system integrations, provide user training, and ensure optimal performance of automation equipment for clients and occupants.

Ideal candidates bring solid knowledge of control theory, HVAC&R, and low-voltage protocols (LON/BACnet), with strong problem-solving and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum of two years in mechanical/electrical engineering systems.
• Solid knowledge of building automation, control theory, HVAC and related systems.
• Experience integrating low-voltage subsystems with LON/BACnet protocols.
• Proficiency in HVAC&R theory and troubleshooting is a plus.
• OSHA 10-hour certification or higher is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, calibrate, and repair building automation systems in commercial/industrial environments.
• Provide technical support, system integration, and end-user training for owners and occupants.
• Document service findings and communicate clearly with customers and team members.
• Maintain safety standards and manage multiple priorities to meet project deadlines.
• Stay updated on new technologies and best practices in building automation.
