Job summary

Harris is seeking a BA Installation Specialist II to install electrical wiring and controls for building automation systems. You will work from project plans, route wiring, and test circuits to ensure safe, reliable operation, while supporting field teams and mentoring newer installers.

In this hands-on role, you’ll build your technical knowledge and contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of electrical field experience or training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams and specs.
• Familiarity with electrical test equipment (multimeters, analyzers).
• Strong safety, quality and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, route, connect, and test wiring and components for building automation systems.
• Plan wiring routes from project drawings and specifications.
• Test circuits using meters and analyzers to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain documentation, materials requests, and as-built records.
• Mentor entry-level installation specialists on safety and procedures.
