Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site HVAC/Controls technician to install and service building automation systems across customer sites in the Tempe area. You will interpret control drawings, lay out wiring, and coordinate with other trades to ensure safe, efficient installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years in HVAC/Controls; technical training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; clean record as per policy.
• Experience with building automation and DDC controls is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems and related hardware.
• Interpret control drawings and install temperature control systems.
• Prepare for on-site setup by planning layout and coordinating with trades.
• Maintain inventory and complete on-site paperwork daily.
• Serve as the customer contact and diagnose/repair equipment on site.
• Ensure safety standards and document all activities.
