Job summary

Trane Technologies in Tempe, AZ is seeking an on-site HVAC/Controls technician to install, commission, and service direct digital control systems on assigned projects. You will work closely with customers to understand requirements and ensure a high level of satisfaction.

This role requires a high school diploma and 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience, a valid driver’s license, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile devices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required with typically 3–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
• Technical school or formal training preferred.
• Driver’s license valid for minimum 12 months with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects.
• Document point to point verification, sequence of operations validation and job close out requirements.
• Serve as direct customer contact, service products and equipment on site, ensure customer satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing.
• Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand requirements for on-site installation and repairs.
• Keeps current on Trane products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of DDC systems.
• Adhere to safety standards and maintain security of company assets; flexibility for overtime and occasional overnight stays.
