Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems specialist to support energy management, control systems, and campus infrastructure.

You will troubleshoot BAS, coordinate with departments, modify control programs to enhance comfort and efficiency, and oversee expansions and retrofits while mentoring staff. This role requires 5+ years in energy management with HVAC knowledge and IT skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in energy management, building automation, or related field.
• Experience with a major building automation system.
• SQL and MSDE database experience preferred.
• Strong programming knowledge: Pascal, Fortran, Basic, or C++.
• Web tech: Windows IIS, HTML, XML.

Responsibilities

• Support BAS system users and mentor internal resources.
• Coordinate with departments across locations.
• Ensure quality levels for new construction projects.
• Modify control programs to improve comfort and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot BAS failures and coordinate with vendors.
• Oversee expansions and retrofits of BAS systems.
