Job summary

Universal Orlando is seeking a skilled BAS Technician to install, repair, and commission computer-based controls for HVAC, energy management, and fire alarm systems. The role includes interfacing with guests and staff to ensure comfort and system performance, while coordinating with Operations for problem solving and upgrades.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of BAS experience, familiarity with Honeywell/Metasys/Niagara tools, and a strong foundation in electrical work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AA/technical degree preferred.
• 7+ years of BAS control technician experience required.
• Experience with computer-based software and energy management systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance for BAS, fire alarm life safety, security, and card access systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and implement changes to BAS equipment and software.
• Coordinate with operations and contracted firms for updates and improvements.
• Conduct fire alarm inspections and tests per NFPA requirements and Maximo PM schedules.
• Support maintenance for Ride & Show electronic/energy needs as required.
