***This position includes paid travel time***

This employment opportunity is for a full-time position that primarily involves working at the customer's location. The main responsibility of the technician will be servicing and maintaining EcoStruxure Direct Digital Control systems manufactured by Schneider Electric. As the technician gains experience, they will also participate in transition and software update projects. This work may include handling Schneider’s legacy product lines, such as TAC, I/Net, Tridium Niagara, IA, and Andover Continuum. Experience with any of these systems is beneficial but not required. CS&E will provide training on Schneider systems, but applicants must have prior experience in control systems.

Job Requirements:

  1. Three years of prior experience servicing and/or starting up commercial building automation systems.
  2. Understanding different types of mechanical systems.
  3. Strong knowledge and practical experience in control calibration and testing tools.
  4. Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a team.
  5. Ability to understand control and mechanical drawings, sequence of operation, electrical schematics, and circuitry.
  6. Flexible to work overtime and weekends when needed to meet customer deadlines or requirements.
  7. Strong communication and organizational skills.
  8. Working knowledge of BACnet control systems.
  9. Strong IT background.
  10. Prior experience in control programming and creating/modifying graphics.
  11. Physically capable of climbing stairs and ladders.
  12. Current U.S. citizen or legal resident.
  13. Valid driver’s license.
  14. Ability to pass a drug test.
  15. Ability to pass Pennsylvania background checks (Act 33, 34 & 73).
