The Building People, LLC is seeking a full-time Control Technician to support retro-commissioning and calibration of existing control systems. You will collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to meet project goals and provide calibration, point-to-point checks, programming, and testing of DDC building automation as directed.

This role requires approximately 25% travel and involves working with project teams to ensure accurate documentation, sensor calibration, and proper operation

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with programming, startup and/or commissioning of control systems.
• Niagara Ax or N4 certification is a plus but not required.
• Understanding of installation of controls equipment and sensors.

Responsabilités

• Holds project documentation and redlines accurate and up-to-date.
• Complete sensor calibrations on HVAC control systems.
• Perform PID loop tuning to optimize equipment operation.
• Assist with sub-contractors, including test and balance teams.
• Assist engineering of control hardware and software per plans and specs.
• Implement programming, graphics, and sequences for DDC systems.
