Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site technician to perform system commissioning, troubleshoot HVAC controls, and respond to warranty calls. You will ensure efficient building operations and deliver top-tier service by translating technical details for customers.

Responsibilities include loading controller software, documenting commissioning steps, and maintaining safety and accuracy across on-site tasks with Johnson Controls tools and standards.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field or at least 2 years of industry experience.
• Ability to explain technical information to customers and colleagues.
• PC experience and ability to program HVAC related software.

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls and provide high-quality service.
• Provide solutions to improve building efficiency and upsell where appropriate.
• Communicate job progress and issues to customers and contractors.
