Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Building Automation Controls Technician in Houston, TX, on-site. You will install, program, commission, and service building automation systems in commercial and industrial facilities.

Base pay is $80k-$120k per year, with bonuses, a company vehicle, 401(k) match, and comprehensive medical benefits. 2+ years of BAS/HVAC experience and knowledge of BACnet/Modbus networks are required. Travel across the DFW metro area is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of building automation/HVAC controls experience in installation, programming and service.
• Working knowledge of at least one BAS platform (Johnson Controls, Tridium Niagara, Siemens, etc.).
• Solid grasp of networking protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks).
• Ability to commission and troubleshoot HVAC systems in the field.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Be the hands-on controls lead across project and service work.
• Install, program, commission, and troubleshoot building automation systems.
• Support systems from checkout to startup and long-term service.
• Travel to various job sites across the DFW metro area.
