Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly motivated BAS Project Manager for our San Jose, CA team. You will drive Building Automation Systems projects, lead cross-functional teams, and manage the lifecycle from concept to completion to ensure efficiency and quality.

Bring 5+ years in BAS, familiarity with BACnet/automation platforms, and strong client relationship skills. The role emphasizes collaboration, growth opportunities, and a balance between project excellence and personal well-being.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with Automated Logic Controls, Tridium Niagara, and/or Distech Controls strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership and analytical skills with a track record of delivering complex projects.
• Strong time management capabilities, able to juggle multiple client relationships and project priorities.
• Practical knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, boilers, chillers, and overall building automation.
• 3+ years of experience in energy management, building commissioning, and/or system diagnostics and troubleshooting.

• Proactively identify and elevate project issues to ensure timely resolution.
• Estimate and sell BAS construction projects and change orders, using market data to set competitive yet attractive ranges.

• Oversee procurement of materials and allocation of manpower for assigned BAS projects, optimizing cost and schedule.

We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced BAS Project Manager to join our dynamic team in San Jose, CA. This role is pivotal to driving the successful execution of Building Automation Systems (BAS) projects and expanding our growing controls department. You’ll lead cross-functional teams, manage complex project lifecycles from concept to completion, and serve as a key liaison between clients, partners, and internal divisions. Your work will directly influence financial performance, client satisfaction, and the strategic growth of our automation offerings.
