Normal shift runs from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., with rotating weekends. The role emphasizes pride in upkeep, safety, and responsive service to both staff and the public.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial work preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must have a valid Missouri drivers license.
• Basic knowledge of janitorial equipment and chemical safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial duties including trash removal, cleaning, sanitizing, sweeping, mopping, and operating floor-cleaning equipment.
• Maintain facility spaces, restrooms, equipment, and common areas in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
• Clean and prepare spaces for daily operations, programs, and events.
• Inspect facilities and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards.
• Assist with basic repairs using standard hand tools.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals and operate custodial equipment.
• Shovel snow and apply salt to walkways during winter weather as needed.
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to questions from staff and the public.
• Follow established safety standards and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working third shift, you will play an important role in keeping recreation facilities, equipment, and common areas clean, sanitary, and ready for guests and staff. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of maintaining a well-kept facility.
