Looking for a Delivery Driver at our Capital Lighting location

Starting at $19 an hour. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with weekends off!

Job Description

The driver will load, deliver, and unload at customer job sites. They will also assist with cabinet handling in the warehouse when no deliveries are scheduled. The driver must possess strong customer service skills as they will represent Rite Rug to our customers.

Key Requirements:

• Driver’s license with a clean driving record; no CDL required
• Ability to operate 26,000-pound air-brake non-CDL box trucks, 16’ box trucks, and vans
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 75 pounds
• Experience in construction or manufacturing preferred but not mandatory
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently with strong personal accountability and dependability
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US

Delivery Driver Basic Requirements

• Must pass DOT physical (paid for by us)
• Pre-employment drug test
• Background check
• Subject to ongoing drug and alcohol testing throughout employment
• 1-3 months of related driving experience preferred; training available for the right candidate

Driving Record Requirements:

• No reckless driving, DUI/OMVI, hit and run, or preventable accidents
• No excessive speeding (more than 15 miles over the limit as per DOT)
• No more than two moving violations in the past 24 months
