Abt Electronics in Glenview, IL is hiring a Builder Division Delivery Installer/Laborer to join a fast-paced, family-owned team.

You will load/unload, drive a box truck, perform light carpentry and basic electrical tasks, and process delivery tickets while maintaining excellent customer service.

Requirements include passing a DOT physical and drug test, a valid driver’s license, ability to perform physical labor, weekend work, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Able to participate daily in physical labor.
• Some Saturdays and regional travel required.

Abt Electronics has an immediate opening for the position of Builder Division Delivery Installer/Laborer. This role is to join our Builder Division delivery team which has a focus on delivering and installing appliances in Multifamily projects and also caters to high volume clients.

In addition, must be comfortable contributing/working in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fun work environment. Primary duties include:

• Loading/unloading and driving a box truck
• Moving & lifting heavy products safely using a variety of equipment (dollies, straps, etc.)
• Light carpentry, plumbing, ventilation & electrical work
• Processing electronic delivery tickets and communicating with inside personnel
