Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. seeks an experienced Builder Apprentice/Advanced Instructor to provide qualified instruction in basic technical knowledge and practical skills for immediate usefulness as a Structural Apprentice for Navy Seabee, Army and Air Force personnel requiring basic apprenticeship training.

The position emphasizes instruction in builder tools, construction techniques, safety, and proper use of equipment, with focus on heavy timber bridge construction and high-risk operations, within BU-A

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience with advanced techniques.
• Experience in light frame structures, roofing, drywall, painting, and finishing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to balance instructional and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction in builder tools, equipment selection, and material use for projects.
• Teach installation of drywall, door jambs, baseboards, and tile work.
• Instruct painting preparation and application processes.
• Demo concrete mixing, placement, and finishing techniques.
• Deliver in-depth instruction on rough carpentry, framing, and finishes.
