Job summary

Progress Residential is seeking an Acquisitions Associate - Build-to-Rent to join the team that reshapes the single-family rental market. You will leverage proprietary data and AI-driven insights to identify and underwrite opportunities for newly built and to-be-constructed homes.

You will prepare investment committee materials, collaborate with investment, operations and asset management teams, and help drive timely acquisition decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field required.
• 3 years experience as a financial, real estate, or banking analyst required.
• Advanced Excel, Power Point, GIS and database management skills.
• Experience with sourcing, collection and management of market research in a high volume, private equity-like environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and deadlines.
• Self-motivated with initiative and strong communication skills.
• Some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Own the BTR data collection process, aggregating data from multiple sources and creating reports for underwriting and market knowledge.
• Underwrite, analyze, generate offers and draft investment committee materials for BTR acquisitions.
• Use proprietary data, visualization tools and models to inform investment decisions.
• Collaborate with team to enhance project management and meet timelines.
• Work cross-functionally with investment, operational, and asset management teams to onboard new BTR projects.
