Core Responsibilities

• Construct, integrate, and launch high‑level robotic and automated systems.
• Execute the mechanical and electrical assembly of various machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Integrate and install diverse mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical sub‑assemblies.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical malfunctions during the build and deployment phases.
• Facilitate the testing, startup, and field installation processes to ensure successful equipment operation.
• Conduct minor component fabrication, such as drilling, cutting, welding, and bending, to support testing requirements.
• Utilize a variety of power tools, hand tools, and precision measurement instruments.
• Collaborate on equipment adjustments and refinements to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Help maintain a safe, orderly, and efficient workspace by adhering to 5S standards.
• Partner with technical and engineering staff to address and rectify equipment‑related challenges.
• Remain flexible and responsive to shifting project goals within a dynamic engineering setting.
• Travel domestically and abroad roughly 25% of the time to facilitate equipment deployments.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a technical/trade certification, an Associate degree in Engineering Technology, a BS in Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrate hands‑on proficiency in the assembly and troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Prior experience with custom machinery, robotics, industrial automation, or similar manufacturing systems is highly desired.
• Show strong mechanical aptitude when handling hardware, electrical components, and complex assemblies.
• Background in machine shop operations or component fabrication is a plus.
• Proven ability to operate standard shop equipment as well as power and hand tools.
• Capacity to interpret and execute tasks based on technical documentation, assembly guides, or mechanical blueprints.
• Maintain high precision and attention to detail, particularly when managing delicate or small parts.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem‑solving in ambiguous situations where solutions are not pre‑defined.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills to foster effective collaboration with engineering and technical departments.
• Maintain a growth‑oriented mindset focused on learning new technologies and improving processes.
• Willingness and ability to travel for work at least 25% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
