Job summary

Stone Power Technologies Inc in Los Angeles seeks a Build Engineer who turns designs into buildable hardware and leads fabrication of turbine subsystems. You will own DFM, DFA, work instructions, inspection plans, and tooling. You will build first of a kind hardware destined for serial production.

Ideal candidate has delivered hardware before, strong CAD/CAM skills, GD&T, and experience with precision machining. This role offers equity and industry-leading benefits.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE MADE AND DELIVERED HARDWARE BEFORE.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Professional experience with CAD and CAM.
• Strong grasp of subtractive and additive manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of GD&T and tolerance selection.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to optimize turbine subsystems for performance and production.
• Select manufacturing technology to optimize production.
• Operate shop tools such as mill, lathe, MIG welder, saw, and hand tools.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to build systems on schedule.
• Identify production bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Advise design engineers on manufacturability.
