Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Supporting hiring, training, and development of store associates.
• Performing opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Protecting and securing store assets, including cash.
• Maintaining a professional environment with customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Managing store areas to company standards, including recovery and stockroom management.
• Providing direct supervisory responsibility for hourly associates when the Store Manager is absent.
• Processing store directives and communications.
• Managing receipt and return of merchandise, including DSD merchandise.
• Ensuring proper staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
• Overseeing cash handling practices and promotional displays.
• Managing seasonal areas, signage, and store supplies.
• Assisting with scheduling and expense control.

Minimum qualifications:

• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport merchandise up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.
