Job summary

Blough, Inc. in Lowell, MI is seeking a Buffing/Polishing Wheel Operator to buff and polish steel parts to smooth edges and remove blemishes. Training is provided if experience is lacking, with attendance emphasized as critical to success.

The role we are currently looking to fill is for a Buffing/Polishing Wheel Operator. This position uses a buffing/polishing wheel and may occasionally need a Dual Action (DA) sander. This role is responsible for buffing or polishing steel parts to smooth edges and remove excess metal or blemishes. This person must have an eye for detail and ensure the quality of the parts they are producing.

Prior experience will be taken into consideration when determining starting pay. If you don't have experience no worries, get trained by the best of the best, skilled, industry leaders! But, if you don't have great attendance, don't bother applying!! Attendance is critical to your success and ours.

These roles are fast-paced, labor-intensive positions. And, while you will be standing in place to perform this role, you will be continuously moving as you perform this job. The essential functions of this job include the ability to lift 5-10lb boxes.
