Job summary

The Lodge Casino in Black Hawk, CO is seeking a Seasons Buffet Sous Chef to lead kitchen operations in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. You will monitor food quality and presentation, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of the food service industry.
• Culinary degree or equivalent work experience.
• Successful completion of ServSafe Class.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in a high-volume food establishment.
• Identification that establishes identity and the right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the quality and presentation of all food items
• Supervise and manage kitchen staff.
• Requisition food items from the warehouse, timely and accurately
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas
• Practice procedures to increase yields (minimizes waste)
• Complete daily log and temperature logs. Complete "line check" each meal period
• Uphold all health department policies and procedures
• Other related duties including but not limited to complying with Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, and related policies
