Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and transport food, beverages and supplies to buffet areas.
• Monitor supplies and replenish buffet items as needed.
• Follow preparation methods, monitor taste, appearance, temperature, portion size and garnish.
• Welcome guests and respond to requests professionally; refer issues to management.
• Purchase or requisition inventory to maintain stock levels.
• Monitor and control costs and ensure proper storage to minimize waste.
• Maintain a clean buffet area and equipment; empty trash and clear tables.
• Check equipment condition and report hazards.
• May operate dishwashing machine and store dishes.
• Promote teamwork and quality service across departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
