Job summary

Delaware North Gaming is seeking full-time Restaurant Cashiers to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. You will collaborate with dining room, service and kitchen staff to ensure smooth transactions and excellent guest service.

Weekly pay, benefits, and flexible work schedules are part of the package, with opportunities for training and development to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling experience.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately count change and balance bank.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with dining room, service, and kitchen team to track orders, handle payments, validate methods of payment, complete transactions, and dispense the accurate amount of change and receipts.
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts.
• Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolve discrepancies and process payments.
• Clean up checkout area and keep organized; stock receipt paper and other stationery.
• Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables orders using the venue's primary point of sale system.

• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts

• Scan items and ensure pricing is correct, resolving discrepancies and processing payments

• Clean up checkout area and keep organized; keep receipt paper and other stationery stocked

• Maintain accurate tabs on restaurant tables' orders using the venue's primary point of sale system
