Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a buffet attendant for Hyatt House LA – University Medical Center, a guest-facing on-site role in the Los Angeles area. You will help set up, maintain and replenish the breakfast buffet, and assist guests with menu information.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or food service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary pre-shift side work and sets up buffet.
• Familiar with buffet items, ingredients, preparation and garnishes.
• Maintains buffet setup, hot and cold stations, and displays food appealingly.
• Maintains communication with kitchen to replenish items and ensure freshness.
• Practices clean-as-you-go to keep buffet, kitchen, and serving area tidy.
• Decorates buffet with seasonal touches as required.
• Greet guests as host/hostess, explain menu offerings, and answer questions.
