Starting Pay Rate: $16.50/hour

The Back-of-House (BOH) is the heart of the Shakey's experience. Team members work in the kitchen preparing fresh dough daily, cooking pizza, chicken, and Mojo's, and ensuring the kitchen and supplies are clean and sanitary. If you enjoy working behind the scenes, BOH is for you.

BOH Stations Include

• Cook
• Buffet Attendant
• Dough Roller
• Dishwasher

New team members are initially trained and perform in one BOH station but are encouraged to learn and progress through all BOH functions. Learning multiple stations increases your skills, potential hours, and opportunities for advancement into store management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking food following Shakey's guidelines and safe food handling procedures.
• Setting up and restocking food items on the buffet line and salad bar.
• Ensuring proper storage and rotation of food products and ingredients.
• Stocking stations with ingredients and supplies as required.
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area.
• Transferring supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Sweeping and mopping kitchen floors.
• Placing dirty dishes and utensils in the dishwasher.
• Washing pots, pans, and trays.
• Performing opening and closing procedures for the assigned BOH station.
• Assisting other BOH and FOH stations as needed.
• Performing any other duties as assigned.
