Flower Daddy is looking for an experienced Budtender with strong retail instincts, good energy, and real follow-through.

Great budtending isn’t about reciting THC percentages. It’s about asking the right questions, reading the room, and helping customers find products that fit their preferences, experience, and budget.

This is also a hands‑on retail position. You’ll talk about cannabis, but you’ll also sell, clean, restock, fulfill orders, organize products, and help keep the store running smoothly. We’re a small, growing team, so reliability and accountability matter just as much as product knowledge.

Schedule Requirements

Open and reliable availability is required for a rotating retail schedule that includes opening, evening, weekend, holiday, and closing shifts.

Current closing shifts run as late as midnight Thursday through Saturday. As our hours expand, closing shifts may end at midnight during the week and as late as 2:00 a.m. on certain nights. Applicants must be available for these future expanded hours.

Weekend and late-night availability are essential. This is not a weekday‑only or daytime‑only position.

About You

• You are at least 21 years old
• You have previous customer‑facing experience in a licensed New York cannabis dispensary
• You have strong retail, hospitality, or customer‑service experience
• You are dependable, punctual, coachable, and comfortable being held accountable
• You can recommend products confidently without overwhelming or pressuring customers
• You are comfortable learning new systems, procedures, and product information
• You can remain calm, friendly, and organized during busy shifts
• You can stand for extended periods and safely complete physical retail tasks, with or without reasonable accommodation
• You care about cannabis, music, art, design, culture, and community
• You understand that great retail includes selling, learning, cleaning, organizing, and helping wherever needed
