Qualifications

  • Lead a group of analysts in the planning and development of the Governor’s Budget, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor actual data against changes to the enacted budget (Budget Revisions, Section letters, Exec Orders).
  • Lead in developing Budget Change Proposals and Enrollment, Caseload and Population Estimates, and draft legislative bill fiscal analyses.
  • Assist Budget Officer with establishing and maintaining the Budget Office policies and procedures manual.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise analysts in budgeting activities and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align budget plans with policy goals.
  • Oversee updates to the Governor’s Budget based on revisions and executive orders.
  • Prepare and review fiscal analyses for legislative or fiscal impact statements.
