Job summary

You will design and execute the annual operating budget and multi-year forecasts, analyze financial data, and prepare concise management reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or closely related field.
• This is an entry level position; experience in a large organization, public agency, non-profit or higher education preferred.
• Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving in flexible, fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers and finance staff to determine best use of resources and report expense variances.
• Support Senior Budget Systems & Reporting Analyst: Budget Errors, Project setup, BuyWays (procurement system), EPAF approvals.
• Participate in the annual operating budget process, linking funding to goals and financial metrics.
• Determine the financial consequences of policy, program, or activity changes affecting university finances and resources.
• Develop and present analysis and financial studies of key revenue and expense variables.
