The State of Wisconsin Department of Corrections is seeking a professional to assist in decision-making for the biennial budget and policy areas. Responsibilities include preparing fiscal estimates, cost-benefit analyses, and responding to information requests across the department.

Entry and Advanced levels offer hourly pay with a structured pay plan, and a 12-month probationary period is required. Remote work is allowed up to 3 days per week with strong benefits and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Experience creating papers on programs and data analyses.
• Proficient in advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, filters, merging).
• Experience collecting and analyzing data, providing recommendations as needed.
• Advanced level: analyzing public policy issues, proposals and legislation.
• Advanced level: presenting and briefing stakeholders on results of data analyses and reports.
