The Budget Manager is responsible for the financial management of specific cost centers assigned within Ocean Conservancy’s conservation programs. Within their assigned portfolio, the Budget Manager manages the full lifecycle of compliance for restricted grants, matching funds and unrestricted funding. The incumbent works across multiple cost centers, as needed, to manage financial reporting and analysis, program and project budgets, revenue recognition, cost proposals and lead financial system data entry. This position ensures compliance with donor and Ocean Conservancy policies regarding the use of funds. As the primary financial liaison to program staff, the Budget Manager leads efforts to achieve alignment across executive, program and development staff on financial information.
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
Ocean Conservancy is committed to fair pay practices and posts expected salary ranges for each of its positions. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s specialty skills, years of experience, location, and unique background. The expected salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000 annually. We would welcome the opportunity to connect with potential candidates whose salary requirements may be outside of the expected range.
