Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Business, Planning & Analysis Manager at our Los Angeles, CA location.

The role is responsible for regional budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance analysis, developing annual budgets, and ensuring materially correct financial reporting. A banking background with 5+ years of finance experience is preferred; MBA or CPA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• 5+ years of finance experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Must have banking background and strong critical thinking.
• Experience working with databases and queries.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Regional support for financial planning and analysis.
• Develops annual detailed financial budget.
• Quarterly forecast and monthly variance analysis.
• Manage internal regional and line of business reporting.
• Analyze monthly operating results against budget/forecast.
• Identify processes needing improvement for accurate reporting.
• Prepare data for monthly executive & quarterly board meetings.
