Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Business, Planning & Analysis Manager.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location. The Business, Planning & Analysis Manager has primary responsibility for regional support and will assist in the development of annual budgets at the regional level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in accounting or finance preferred.
• 5+ years of finance experience with budgeting and forecasting.
• Banking background required.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with databases and queries; ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Regional Support.
• Develops annual detailed financial budget.
• Quarterly forecast.
• Manage internal regional and line of business reporting.
• Perform monthly analysis of operating results in comparison to budget and forecast.
• Analyze processes throughout the company to ensure materially accurate financial reporting.
• Identify company processes in need of review or expansion as it relates to financial reporting.
• Gather and combine reports for monthly executive meetings and quarterly board meetings.
• Perform the job in accordance with applicable industry laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures established by the company.
• Responsible for upholding Fair and Responsible Banking practices and Code of Ethics and Conduct guidelines.
• Understand and participate in the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of a full-time Business, Planning & Analysis Manager at our Los Angeles, CA location.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and location.
The Business, Planning & Analysis Manager has primary responsibility for regional support. This position will also assist in the development of annual budgets at the regional level. Responsibilities also include maintaining and updating the recurring financial forecast and analyzing monthly performance trends to compare budget/forecast expectations as well as analyzing current processes throughout the company to ensure materially correct financial reporting is occurring. The Manager assists with various salesforce performance/stack ranking reporting, other monthly internal management level reporting packages.

Education / Experience Required

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

• Must possess a banking background.
• Must possess critical thinking skills.
• Must possess experience working with databases and query experience.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.

Working Conditions
