Job summary

BMA Group Global is seeking a Budget Management Associate to support the development, implementation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets and financial plans in collaboration with internal departments and government agencies.

The role requires strong Excel skills, budgeting experience, and the ability to communicate in English and Spanish. You will assist with budget preparation, reporting, and ensuring policy compliance across fiscal plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in budgeting, financial planning, accounting, or a related field; relevant internships or project experience may qualify.
• Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and analyze financial data to support budget planning and certification.
• Assist with the preparation and consolidation of departmental budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare financial reports and summaries to monitor budget performance, trends, and variances.
• Maintain budgeting templates, financial models, and supporting documentation.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, risks, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist in evaluating budget reprogramming requests for consistency with fiscal plans and policies.
• Support the development and review of the Fiscal Plan.
• Ensure budgeting activities follow established financial policies, guidelines, and regulations.
• Coordinate budget timelines, track milestones, and communicate relevant updates.
• Collaborate with internal teams, government agencies, advisors, and other stakeholders.
• Provide analytical and administrative support for budget-related meetings and projects.
