Job summary

The role serves as backup to the Business Financial Manager and handles budgets, reconciliation, procurement, AP/AR, and general accounting tasks.

You will collaborate with program leadership, prepare periodic budgets and statements, and support audits and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
  • Experience with university financial processes preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to train others and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation support for the CLEE.
  • Assist with grant and contract accounting and procurement processes.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor communications.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audits.
  • Collaborate with leadership to monitor department expenditures and compliance.
  • Support transitions to new budget processes and provide reporting to sponsors.
