Qualifications

• Associate's degree and two years of experience required.
• Preferred: Prior experience with UAB Financial Accounting.
• Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the UAB purchasing and financial systems, a quick understanding of processes and a strong ethical compass and ability to follow processes and procedures put in place.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical financial support for an assigned organization unit.
• Review requests and determine appropriateness with regard to institutional requirements, proper authorization, and conformance with regulations.
• Assist with the maintenance and reconciliation of budgets and accounts, review requisitions, and order equipment and supplies.
• Collect financial information and provide reports and analyses as needed.
