Job summary

The City of New York's Department of Youth and Community Development seeks a Financial Analyst for its Financial Management Division. Qualifications

• A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work.
• High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work.
• Education and/or experience equivalent to the first two options, with at least one year in option one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the portfolio's spending plan.
• Provide oversight and technical assistance with funding and budgeting.
• Prepare and present analytical reports on the portfolio budgetary issues.
• Monitor portfolio operations and estimate budget expenditures.
• Analyze variances and report findings to management.
