Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of budget and audit principles and practices.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Skill in organizational methods and time management.
• Ability to interact with diverse groups, federal officers, staff, and subject matter experts.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, math or closely related field.
• Five years’ experience in accounting, budgeting, or financial management.
• Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

• Prepare and analyze the budget and financial reports, along with legislative requirements.
• Research and provide expenditure controls; analyzing financial fiscal data, provider/claim data and payments.
• Analyze management information systems data and provide recommendations on financial or claim information.
