Quivera Enterprises, LLC seeks a detail-oriented Budget Analyst II to support financial management and budget operations at NASA's Johnson Space Center under the NFSS contract.

The Budget Analyst II examines operating budgets to determine fund allocation, maintains financial trend data, and prepares graphs, reports, and forecasts. The role assists in developing legislative appropriations requests and fiscal notes as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years in accounting, budgeting, financial management, or related discipline.
• Master's degree in a related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, analyze, and submit quarterly financial reconciliations and FTE reports.
• Research, collect, compile, and analyze financial and budgetary data.
• Review and maintain financial reports for month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Provide guidance and assistance to other Budget Analysts as necessary.
• Identify, research, and resolve budget discrepancies related to financial and personnel expenditures.
• Advise and assist staff with budget-related inquiries, including journal entries and reallocations to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in developing budgets for the upcoming fiscal year by analyzing financial reports, revenue trends, and coordinating with executive leadership as necessary.
• Support the annual cash transfer process by researching and reviewing financial reports and preparing required journal entries.
• Review and approve authorized overrides for vouchers, requisitions, and purchase orders.
• Support financial management activities in accordance with regulations, accounting principles, and contract requirements.
