Advantage SCI is accepting applications to support a Department of Justice law enforcement task force program. We are hiring for the following positions:

  • Position Title: Budget Analyst I-IV
  • Reports To: Program Manager
  • Clearance Type: Secret (all levels)
  • Work Location: National Capital Region
  • Estimated Start Date: On contract award
Job Description:

The Budget Analyst will assist with fiscal program management, including:

  • Planning and preparing budget submissions and descriptions
  • Performing regular financial and program analysis
  • Developing routine and ad hoc financial and program reports
  • Providing status updates on program funds
  • Preparing financial and other reports

Additionally, the role involves daily on-site fiscal management to ensure project expenditures are correctly obligated and compliant with policies, regulations, and contractual obligations.

Required Experience and Qualifications:
  • Education and experience levels vary by position:
    • Level I: Bachelor's degree or 4 years experience
    • Level II: Bachelor's degree and 2 years experience
    • Level III: Bachelor's degree and 6 years experience or Master's degree and 4 years experience
    • Level IV: Bachelor's degree and 8 years experience or Master's degree and 6 years experience
  • Active SECRET security clearance (all levels)
  • Knowledge of federal budget formulation practices
  • Experience in financial and program analysis
  • Ability to track expenditures accurately
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to compile complex reports
Working Conditions:
  • Extended periods of sitting and working at a computer
  • Physical ability to stoop, kneel, and reach
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and run
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
