Job summary

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities is seeking Budget Analyst 1/2 to support statewide operating and capital budget functions. This flexibly-staffed role can be filled as BA1 or BA2, offering growth, OT exemptions for BA2, and opportunities to contribute to statewide public services from Juneau.

Starting salaries are listed as $35.45 hourly for BA1 (OT eligible) or $3,064.50 bi-weekly for BA2 (OT exempt). Telework options may be considered per supervisor approval.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical level experience in accounting, budget, finance, or similar field.
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college will substitute for the required experience.
• BA2 requires one year of entry professional level experience or two years of related experience.
