Job summary

YKHC Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented financial professional to manage a full range of ERP-based accounting tasks in a regular full-time role.

The position covers accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries, with data extraction for reports and decision support. Training other departments on the ERP is also expected as part of cross training in payroll and AP.

• Enter invoices, match to POs, process payments, and maintain vendor files.

D. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Process and monitor a full range of financial transactions within the ERP system, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Extract, analyze, and manipulate data from the ERP to generate reports, identify discrepancies, and assist in decision-making.
• Provide technical support and training to other departments and personnel regarding the ERP system's financial modules and procedures.

• Cross Train in Payroll and Accounts Payable
• Payroll:
  • Verify, audit, and process employee timesheets and timecards.
  • Calculate wages, overtime, deductions (taxes, benefits, union dues), and adjustments.
  • Enter data, process payroll runs (e.g., bi-weekly), and generate paychecks/direct deposit information.
  • Reconcile payroll reports, maintain payroll records, and handle employee transaction data.
  • Process payroll-related disbursements like garnishments and benefits.
• Accounts Payable
  • Receive, review, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.
  • Process payments to vendors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Maintain accounts payable records and vendor files.
  • Audit invoices and payments for errors.
